 School Bridge, LLC & Tochterman Muir Educational Consulting, LLC are growing and we are actively searching for hard-working and skilled individuals to join the fast-paced working environment. Tochterman Muir Educational Consulting, LLC & School Bridge, LLC  offer evaluation, diagnosis and recommendations for students with learning, attention and organizational challenges and symptoms related to anxiety. Evaluation services are provided to students, elementary through graduate school. More than 1600 students from across the globe have been served by services provided. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, personalized attention and effective practice. School Bridge, LLC offers tutoring services for students of all ages struggling with reading, including those with dyslexia. The Center is located in Bethesda, Maryland and is opened Monday through Saturday with tutoring available individually and in small groups during the morning, afternoon and evening hours.

Current position open at this time:

Reading Tutor (Bethesda). Accepting resumes at this time (September 2019) for reading tutors, tutors, coaches, instructors. Tutors interested in working with our team of reading coaches,  Flexible, steady hours each week. Work two to six shifts per week.  Morning, afternoon, evening hours Monday-Friday and or morning and afternoon hours on Saturday available. Preferred: Certification, training, experience in teaching elementary reading, special education, middle school English/Humanities, technology and or literacy. Preference will be given for applicants: Knowledge, training and experience with Orton-Gillingham, Barton, Wilson, Lindamood-Bell interventions. Experience with students K-12 through teaching, coaching, tutoring etc. Mandatory:  College undergraduate diploma.  Flexible scheduling with either full-time or part-time hours and competitive compensation available. A collaborative, respectful and supportive work environment is promised. Candidates should have a proven track-record and be committed to maintaining an ethical, positive and dedicated approach whereby the students/families are treated with respect, honor and compassion. Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as thoughtful problem-solving abilities, are essential. Professional development and or graduate degree programming may be available for qualified candidates. A preliminary trial period may be expected before contract or agreement is offered. Internships (Bethesda). Accepting resumes at this time (September 2019) for paid and unpaid professional internships. Perfect for college student, graduate student, college student taking a semester/year off, student taking a gap year, or person returning to the working world interested in education, special education, psychology, neuroscience, cognitive studies, counseling, business administration. 6-week, semester and summer internship opportunities available. Internships offer hands on experience working with projects tailored to intern’s strengths and interests including: social media, assessment, tutoring, data analysis, client outreach and relations, written analysis, marketing, scheduling, press releases, event planning/hosting, data entry,survey, outreach/enrollment, clerical administrative work (filing, organization, errands, printing, word processing), web-design, office support, and more.
